This is my storyboard for my Ar video. It shows various netball videos that i took myself when i was training which shows different techniques for both defense and attack. I combined these videos  so that it can be longer.

This is a screenshot for one of my videos. This represents a defender using a distracting technique to encourage the shooter to aim and miss the post. It also shows the technique of a shooter.

I made this poster using Photoshop and the grey box is where i am going to insert my video.

Hazel: Its good because it resembles the topic i am using a video however, i need to make it more colourful.

Harry:  He liked that it is personal to me as my position is in big on the poster but said to change the font.

“Pokemon Go”

I like this AR example because it brings a video game into the real life. I like the design of the characters and how the graphics are good when playing the game (from experience). I don’t like the fact that android phones cannot download the apps and that Pokemon Go has made people in danger by making them cross places they cant go- trespass.

“Harry Potter Wizards Unite”

I like this AR example because it bring the animals from Harry Potter. I like how effortlessly it preforms on a smart phone. I don’t really like this game as im not a big harry potter fan myself but i can see people how really like this game.

“Snapchat Filters”

I like snapchat filters because it can be used for a comedic reason. There is also a gallery that allows creators to make filters which adds variation to the types of filters you can get. I don’t like the fact that there might be security problems with scanning your face with a filter.

“Virtual Makeup”

I like this app because it allows you to try makeup on using AR so its efficient as you can try on makeup products before purchasing them. I don’t like the fact that in real life and when using the app could potentially could be different as they are not the same and that companies may use this app as a promotional to advertise there products but make it look better than the real thing.

 

“A on Ciagle Wish”

I like this poster because its interesting as the pieces are broken and it looks like multiple faces. I like the Ombre between the purple and blue and how the image changes the further you look at the face. It makes me think about the different personality’s that the character may portray and makes me think about the meaning of the broken fragments. I like the text because its quite unusual and mysterious. I don’t like how the image portrays a sense of creepiness and that the characters “back” is completely straight which makes me feel uncomfortable.

 “Life of Pi”

I like this poster because of the vibrancy of the yellow and orange and how they blend together and how the tiger’s eyes compliment the yellow toned colours. I like it because this poster is interesting as it doesn’t portray realism as the water is not blue and it seems like the sun is so bright from where the tiger is that it recolours the water. I don’t like the fact that the humans in the boat are smaller than the tiger as i feel they should be equal in size to demonstrate that animals and humans are equals.

 “Fearless Lives Forever Bohemian Rhapsody”

I like this poster because of the vibrancy of the purple and how there is shading around the mans face. I like how the glasses are reflective and have words written on them with makes it more realistic. I don’t  like that there is no contrast in colours and that the migratory of this poster is purple.

“Not dead”

I like this poster because of the vibrant blue colour of blue and the man’s position and how he looks cool and quite laid back. I like how the scarf  is apart of the background but you can also tell that is is a scarf. His white face contrasts the dark cloak. However, i don’t like the that the words have no pattern and that they are just written and don’t link to each other.

 “The lover of the butterfly”

I like this poster because of the butterfly within the sky relating to the title. The butterfly looks like its dripping with creates an interesting effect and draws people in to look at the butterfly. I don’t like how this poster only shows a brown toned and doesn’t have many colours to create more contrasts and vibrancy to this poster.

 

 

 

To plan what I was going to do I collected idea’s that I could do for my topic of face

Topics I could choose:

• Focus on my friend,
• Study a netflix show that I like like:  Vampire Dairies, Teen wolf or Rupaul’s Drag race.

I want to study the makeup on the face and to do that I think that Rupauls drag race will tell me about different styles of makeup that is used mainly for entertaining purposes and to express feeling and emotions. To look at the detail of the Drag Queens best runways and also their best creative challenge where they can be creative and think beyond the box.

Out of all the Drag Queens of 2019 series which include:

Yvie Oddly– Winner !

I think she won because she had the most courageous outfits and makeup that made her stand out and compare to the other competitors by her being “werid”. This is one of her looks that she wore in the final.

Brooke Lynn Hytes– Runner Up !

She won lots of challenges and used her ballerina background to edge her further when lip syncing for her place in the competition.

A’Keria C Davenport– 3rd/4th Place

I like her makeup in the photograph because the pink is bold and the eyes look sharp. It creates the imagery of her being quite sassy.

Silky Nutmeg Ganache– 3rd/4th place

Silky represents Drag Queens with a different body type, I love the way she incorporates her features into her looks and makes it a staple. Her makeup in this photograph is amazing the strong contour and bold red lip bring the outfit together. Her pose makes the photo more interesting because of her face to the side and also her hand on her head.

Vanessa Vanjie Mateo– 5th place

I love the vibrancy of this outfit and her hair compliments her face, I like the dark lipstick and she uses a lot of highlighter on her face to give contrast in the photograph. I like how her face isn’t just smiling its like she is surprised.

Nina West-6th place

I love the colour combination and the pink hair matches. The way she is looking to the side but looking at us is cool.

Shuga Cain-7th place

She looks really happy in this photo and like she has a lot of bronzer on which contacts the purple hair.

Plastique Tiara-8th Place

Her contour is amazing and the black eye shadow compliments the elegant look by making it contrasting to the subtileness of the baby pink.

Ra’Jah O’Hara– 9th Place

I like her eyes shadow and the way her skin and lip gloss glows.

Scarlet Envy-10th Place

The black eye shadow compliments the amount of red that there is in this photograph.

Scarlet Envy-11th place

I love how she has used two different colours of eyeshadow on her face it makes the eyes stand out more and the highlights in the middle of the eyes brings the look together. She also has used bronzer and highlighters to get a glow effect on her skin like she has a tan.

Mercedes Iman Diamond– 12th place

I

I like how glowy her skin is and that the light is reflecting of it. Her sharp contour creates  tone in the picture.

Honey Davenport-13th place

I love her skin in this photograph the shine is amazing. I love the touch of purple to her lips to tie in the look together.

Kahanna Montrese-14th place

Her red lipstick is  something that I looked at first because it is so vibrant. Her eyes look mysterious.

Soju- 15th place

I like the dark lipstick and her pose as its of to the side.

From looking at all of the Drag Queens from season 11 (the season I have recently watched) I decided to choose Yvie Oddly to focus on not just because she was the winner but because her makeup and drag style is completely unique and shows people that they can show their “weird” side.

How could I present Yvie Oddly?

• Create a poster (if I used software on the computer like Photoshop LightRoom to change how I would re-create their look.
• Create a web page ( I wouldn’t be able to change the look to my own which I like the idea of).
• Create a website layout on Photoshop to promote the idea of her face to promote “weird” makeup and expressing yourself. 
• Draw it out in person (however may take unnecessary time to do).

Factors of Demographic

Age: The age would be 13+ but it depends on someones personality what age they start watching or if they do watch Ru Paul’s Drag Race.

Gender: It would be both men and women in my opinion because they are both included in Drag and it not a show that only one gender would enjoy.

Occupation: I don’t think what you do for a living would relate to what type of things that you would watch on tv. Some makeup artist might be interested in looking at what other drag people create in terms of makeup looks however it doesn’t discourage others to watch.

Marital Status: I don’t think it matters if you single or in a couple.

Ethnicity/Race: It doesn’t matter what Ethnicity or race that you are everyone can watch Ru Paul’s Drag Race.

Expenditures: The amount of money you spend doesn’t change whether you want to watch Ru Paul’s Drag race or not

Income: It doesn’t matter how much you make however you have to pay to watch Netflix and a device or TV to watch it on that has Netflix.

Mobility: To watch a show or TV you don’t have to be able to move.

Housing: Doesn’t matter.

Location:  Where you live doesn’t change if you are able to watch a show or not.
