About myself:
Name: Alicia Kewley,
Date of Birth: 25th August 2004.
My interests:
I play for Ballasalla netball club as GD. I am apart of a great team who are friendly and respect each other. Netball is a sport that has shaped my ability with working within a team and always thinking of other people. It has made me more aware of the relationships i can build with my team mates, we support each other even if we don’t win it doesn’t matter to us.
Team:
I won a the first ever “Club player of the year” on the 26th of April 2019. It was a shield that I get to keep for a year, i was so happy as it made me feel accomplished even though i try my best in each game i never once cared for the score that came out at the end. I played every game i was given the opportunity to. I gratefully received a signature ball from George Fisher.

There is so many other player that have made me re-think what i like about netball. Sharni and Laura inspire me because as someone who also plays as a defender they have brought a new look on defenders as in my opinion they didn’t get much appreciation before but now quality defence is supported very highly and in my opinion having girls like these made people gravitate and support the good quality of defence that they portray.
Art
I enjoy art as a way of creating anything that i want to, it a way of showing my skills without having to talk- my art shows my skills. I choose art as one of my GSCE subjects as i liked the subject and its only growing with time and experience. My topic is animals however i like to draw dogs mainly as i have two dogs of my own. I always want to improve my skills within drawing and creating as i believe there is always room for improvement and i am no way the best that i can be if i continue art within the future.
Animals
I am so grateful to be able to have my dream dogs. My family including: cousins, Uncles and aunties have been breeding husky’s since i could remember. I have always wanted a dog but its always been a concern if we could take care of one as we had never had a dog before. Three years on the 20th July my first dog who we names Alaska was born and we fell in love with her as she was so unique from her other 8 siblings who were all completely white. Alaska is a dark grey husky with amazing blue eyes and long ,fluffy fur. She is the sweetest dog ever and loves all animals especially a hedge hog that comes to see her sometimes.
This year in December my other dog called Amira was born companied by her brother Asher, four puppies died within the mother having the pups because she previously ate a sock which killed the pups other than Amira and Asher. We got Amira in January she has black fur and beautiful brown eyes i like it because Alaska and Amira are both different. Amira gives loads of kisses and always want to be close and give lots of cuddles, she’s still a puppy however my dogs intelligence and sense of smell is amazing.
My dogs are my best friends and i wouldn’t know what i’d do without them, if i need any support i know they are always there for me even if they don’t understand what is going on. They are so funny and the most beautiful dogs (In my opinion). Without them my life wouldn’t be as fulfilled as it is with them in it. They have changed my family for the better and made us go out more as they need a lot of exercise.
